  • Well, if our videos and stories have not compelled you to this point, simply give us a try for one shipment, and you’ll have insight into our 5-star ratings for service, along with unforgettable moments shared in our live tastings with small producers all across Italy!

    This is a community we're creating to connect people through wine and as we explore the 20 regions of Italy, we will delve deeply into the stories of every producer, connecting your directly in live, online tasting sessions as part of each shipment and giving you the opportunity to visit us in Italy!

    We take extra measures to not place a price on an individual wine so that without bias, members can decide what they like and learn why, while at the same time gaining an understanding of the harvest of the season.

  • The Wine Club, Italy is not for everyone! We believe that the value of wine is as much the story of the producer, in this case, those smaller family farms across Italy, as it is the wine; let's face it, the wine does not make itself!

    If you're not comfortable with a curated case, not knowing every bottle, or a surprise here and there in tasting, then we're not for you.

    We're going to explore 20 regions of Italy, again and again, delving deeply into the stories of the wine. So that takes patience and a bit of an intrepid nature.

  • You can subscribe anytime, receive your first case, and enjoy the live tasting from Italy. If you feel The Wine Club, Italy, is not for you, cancel anytime!

  • That depends. Each membership case is curated, meaning our sommeliers have selected 12 wines that tell the story of a particular region within Italy. This allows you to learn about undiscovered wines and the characteristics of that particular region. If there are wines within that case that you love, then yes, you can order more of that wine from our website with discounts passed along by the producer as a value-added feature of your membership.

  • Your curated case of wine is shipped twice yearly—the first case arriving in April and the second in November. You can always order more at any time of the year.

  • Oh no! Yes, it can happen; The Wine Club, Italy, is just not a fit for everyone, so go to your member login page containing all your account information and click Cancel Membership. Your membership will be canceled instantly and no more charges will appear on your credit card so long as that is done 30 Days prior to the October 1st and March 1st subscription cutoff points. All other membership terms and conditions are detailed on the subscription form at checkout.

  • 7-10 days before your wine shipment, you’ll receive an email notification of your pending wine shipment. That email will include an invitation to your live online tasting from Italy. Your box will contain detailed tasting sheets that tell the story of each wine and will be used as a guide for the live tastings. All tastings are recorded and contained in the “members only” section of the website.

  • Yes! Each March and August, our sommeliers from Italy will venture to the United States to provide in-home tastings for member groups. Generally, there are ten tastings across the USA. There is no charge for the tasting, but there is a minimum wine purchase requirement.

  • Generally speaking, no, but there are always exceptions as the market changes. Our primary goal is to bring wines that are unavailable in the States to our members and, more importantly, help them understand those wines.

  • So, that’s a great question. Part of the journey is to find out what you like and why you like it and learn the producers' story. After each tasting, there is a member survey where we solicit feedback on your entire experience, including your feelings about the wine. We use that feedback for future shipments. Now, if, for any reason, a bottle is “corked” we will ship a replacement bottle at no additional cost to you.
